“Cin­e­mad Presents” is a film dis­trib­u­tor for inde­pen­dent, for­eign, avant-garde, cult and under­ground films. We are your spy for under-appreciated movies, con­nect­ing them with venues just as unique.

Mike Plante started Cin­e­mad as a film zine in 1998, which con­tin­ues as a blog at www.iblamesociety.com. He has worked at Sun­dance since 2001, pre­vi­ously as Pre­sen­ta­tion Man­ager and cur­rently as a Short Film Pro­gram­mer. He helped Senior Pro­gram­mer Shari Frilot cre­ate the festival’s New Fron­tier lounge in 2006. Plante also works with Cine­fam­ily, Fan­tas­tic Arcade, The Loft Film Fest (Tuc­son), Los Ange­les Film Fes­ti­val, The Mon­terey Bay Film Soci­ety and Off + Cam­era (Krakow). He had some insane times pro­gram­ming at CineVegas.

Jon Korn is a Shorts Pro­gram­mer for the Sun­dance Film Fes­ti­val. He is also a Shorts Pro­gram­mer at Out­fest, where he was Pro­gram­mer for the 2009 fes­ti­val. Pre­vi­ously, Jon worked as an Asso­ciate Pro­gram­mer at AFI FEST and as Asso­ciate Cre­ative Pro­ducer for Cin­eVe­gas. He is the Co-Creator of the Echo Park Time Travel Mart and a Jeop­ardy! champion.

Films pro­filed here are avail­able for the­atri­cal, edu­ca­tional and any other type of screen­ing. Reg­u­lar engage­ments and mul­ti­ple shows are encour­aged but spe­cial one-offs are pos­si­ble. Rates vary between titles. Will play in a movie the­ater, microcin­ema, base­ment, ware­house or against a mov­ing train.
